Orasi Software, working primarily with the HPE Software applications portfolio, delivers a suite of solutions which make up the industry's most comprehensive suite of IT management and application testing software.  Our customers value the extraordinary experience and expertise of our software sales team and work with us as business partners to create cost effective solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive the automation opportunities in build, deployment, release and change management encompassing various technologies and tools.
  • Understand the process and technical complexities of performing application builds, deployments and releases.
  • Improve and extend the existing process to construct a well-orchestrated delivery pipeline leveraging - Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Testing
  • Support application releases by handling DevOps related tasks.
  • Be a key contributor to initiatives to improve the existing systems and toolsets
  • Identify process and technical improvement area and propose solutions.
  • 50% Travel













Qualifications

  • Understanding of CI pipelines and deployment approaches
  • Building and working with a Continuous Integration (CI) framework tools like Jenkins, Travis CI.
  • Developing, debugging and deploying applications with .net or other similar formal languages
  • Familiar with scripting languages like Python, Powershell, Ruby, Groovy, or Shell
  • Windows administrative experience in context of application orchestration and automation
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices utilizing Chef, Puppet, Vagrant
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels of technical and non-technical audiences
  • Beneficial
    • Understanding of Database technologies using MySQL, MongoDB, or others.
    • Experience with Cloud Technologies, both AWS and Azure.
    • .NET coding experience
    • Experience with artifact repositories such as Nexus and Artifactory.
    • SCM tools such as Git, Perforce, SVN
    • XebiaLabs experience
    • Customer driven consulting experience
